The Atelier returns to the practices of the 1950s couturier atelier where each piece is individually hand-tailored for the client. The house of Gallello revives the techniques of our grandfather, Dominic Gallello, who was pattern cutter to Monsieurs Dior and Yves Saint Laurent, 1950-1961.
Couture Service
Designs can be purchased in standard Italian sizing or made-to-measure.
For clients interested in made-to-measure, their piece will be created with the Atelier's Couture Service. With this service, the design will be cut and tailored to the client's unique measurements and refined through two fittings with a Master Tailor. The client can share their measurements with the Atelier using the Measurement Form or make an appointment to have measurements taken by one of our tailors.

The Creation Journey
Embark on your creation journey with The Atelier. Your made-to-measure piece will be delivered within 2-4 weeks varying by design, with fittings scheduled afterward to ensure it achieves your desired fit.
Consultation
Your journey begins with an intimate consultation, where we take precise measurements and guide you through an exclusive selection of fabrics and finishes. This step is the foundation of your bespoke experience, ensuring every detail is tailored to your unique preferences.
First Fitting
In the first fitting, the initial shell of your garment is crafted—a beautifully unfinished piece designed to take shape as you envision. During this session, the piece is carefully pinned and adjusted, allowing you to see the early stages of your vision come to life.
Second Fitting and Beyond
With each subsequent fitting, we refine and perfect the garment, making further adjustments to achieve the impeccable fit you desire. Some pieces may require additional fittings, particularly those with intricate designs.
-
Fittings with the Atelier are available in London, Milan and Venice. For remote clients, measurements can be provided to the Atelier, with fittings pinned by their local tailor and sent back to Venice for alterations and final creation.
