The House
Gallello Atelier
-
Gallello Atelier is a private client couture house working in the lineage of Dominic Gallello - pattern cutter to Dior and Yves Saint Laurent, 1950-1961. Each piece is made entirely by hand, by named artisans, in ateliers in Venice and Milan.
The house does not just produce collections. It builds wardrobes - one woman, one commission at a time. Guided by silhouette, fabrication, and the life she leads.
-
Couture returned to the wardrobe.
The Art of Dressing
The quiet discipline of living beautifully.
-
An Art of Dressing appointment is a private consultation with the House Advisor. Over the course of an hour, she guides each client through the house's silhouette - considering proportion, fabrication, and the architecture of a wardrobe composed with intension.
There is no obligation to commission. The appointment is a conversation about how you dress, and how the house might serve that.
For clients who commission: each piece is cut to your precise measurements and refined through two fittings with a Master Tailor.

The Commission
From Appointment to Wardrobe.
—
The Consultation
The House Advisor guides you through the house's silhouettes. Fabric selection are made. The wardrobe is considered as a whole - across life, travel, and professional settings.
The Making
Each piece is cut to your precise measurements by the house's pattern cutter in Venice and tailored entirely by hand. Noble materials only - sourced from the houses of Bacci, Mantero, and Taroni.
The Fitting
Each commission is refined through two fittings with a Master Tailor. The piece is shaped to the body - not adjusted to a size. Delivery within two to four weeks.
The Practice of The House
"Couture is commissioned and worn as part of a life, not a moment."
—
The Atelier works individually with each client to understand the life she leads - guiding silhouette and fabrication, crafting through couture tailoring in noble materials. Wardrobes are undertaken in full or developed over time, each piece created in relation to the whole.
The house traces its lineage to Dominic Gallello, who worked as pattern cutter to Monsieurs Dior and Yves Saint Laurent from 1950-1961. The practice continues under the same principles: patience, precision, and the long relationship between a woman and her wardrobe.
