Reimagined Vintage Furs
Vintage Fox Furs, re-cut and reimagined into one-of-one coats by the Atelier.
-
Each fox coat begins long before it reaches the Atelier. Sourced from archival vintage pieces in Italy, every fur is selected for its exceptional quality and preserved character. Our furrier, Renata, then reimagines each pelt into a new silhouette — cut, sculpted and finished entirely by hand.
These coats are one-of-one and exclusive to the Atelier's private clients. The Atelier creates only to order, honouring the integrity of each vintage piece while shaping it into a modern Gallello silhouette.
Clients may choose from our current selection of archival furs below. Once a fur is chosen, it is reserved exclusively for you.

Red Fox
Red Fox I, Rich Tonal: A red fox with pronounced tonal variation, featuring deep amber guard hairs and lighter golden bands. Naturally graphic with strong vertical movement.
-
Red Fox II, Golden Blend: A softer red fox with warm honey and caramel tones throughout. More uniform in colour, offering a luminous, fluid appearance when cut.
-
Red Fox III, Smoky Red: A red fox with cooler undertones and subtle grey-smoke shading through the pelt. Elegant and muted, with a quieter, more understated depth.
Arctic Fox
Arctic Fox I, Silver Frost: A cool-toned arctic fox with pale silver guard hairs and soft pearl undertones. Clean and luminous, with a crisp, icy quality that reads refined and quietly architectural when cut.
-
Arctic Fox II, Winter Cloud: A warmer arctic fox with subtle cream and champagne shading throughout the pelt. Gently blended in tone, offering a soft, enveloping appearance with fluid movement and understated warmth.
-
Arctic Fox III, Glacial Shadow: A deeper arctic fox with nuanced grey-beige undertones and natural shadowing through the fur. Elegant and slightly muted, with greater depth and contrast for a more sculptural, grounded finish.
Silver Fox
Silver Fox, Smoke: A softly blended silver fox with fluid tonal movement, ranging from pale ash to charcoal grey. The overall effect is understated and elegant, with gentle contrast that reads refined rather than graphic. Ideal for clients seeking quiet luxury and versatility.
Silver Fox II, Shadow: A deeper, more dramatic silver fox with pronounced dark undertones and richer contrast through the length of the pelt. This variation has a stronger visual presence, lending itself beautifully to evening silhouettes and statement outerwear.
Silk Satin Lining
To complete the piece, clients are invited to choose a silk satin lining from a palette inspired by the tones and elegance of the era of 1950s couture.
The Gallello Family
Inspired by pieces left as family heirlooms to Stacey Gallello, the house unpicks the fond memories he wove into the seams of his
garments, and entwines them into the modern day. Dominic Gallello was couturier pattern cutter to Monsieur Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent. The Atelier is committed to preserving the integrity of traditional craft by practicing his techniques today.
